DIRECTV SE Field Services Involuntary Surplus - Q1 2025

This is to notify the Communications Workers of America (CWA) that pursuant to provisions of Article 7, Force Adjustment, of the 2024 Field Services Southeast Contract, the Company is declaring an involuntary layoff of seventeen (17) bargained employees in the Services Technician job title in following scheduling groups:

AL-V-CTRL GULF-FLORENCE DTV (1), AL-V-CTRL GULF-MADISON DTV (1), AL-V-CTRL GULF-MONTGOMERY DTV (1), AL-V-CTRL GULF-TUSCALOOSA39 DTV (2), AL-V-CTRL-GULF-ALBERTVILLE DTV (1), FL-V-CTRL GULF-CANTONMENT DTV (1), FL-V-CTRL GULF-TALLAHASSEE DTV (3), GA-V-ATLMARIETA-CARTERSVILLE DTV (1), GA-V-ATLMARIETA-FAYETTEVILLE DTV (1), GA-V-ATLMARIETA-GAINESVILLE DTV (1), GA-V-CTRL GULF-COLUMBUS DTV (1), GA-V-GAOUT-GRIF-MACON DTV (2), TN-V-MTNS WST-KNOXVILLE DTV (1).

The employees who are impacted by this layoff will be eligible for the provisions of Article 7, Force Adjustment, of the 2024 Field Services Southeast Contract. 

Management plans to communicate this voluntary offer to the Services Technicians in these scheduling groups on Friday February 21, 2025. Their last day on payroll will be March 21, 2025.
